Michael Violante and Paul Rochford are interior designers that specialize in residences for clients around the country. Violante and Rochford Interiors are well-known for their “casual luxe” look: interiors that are sleek, spacious, sophisticated and elegant, but still comfortable.
Their approach is to open the space, use neutral palettes background, and tons of color accents to make the homes distinctive.
“We are not afraid of color, and neither are our clients!” Much of their work is custom and so many prize pieces come from the designers’ travels around the world.
“We feel it is essential to fill the home with objects and furniture that the owners love,” said the designers. They are undaunted in mixing antiques with contemporary pieces, different global styles, and of course, eclectic art pieces, often the focus for an entire project.
The result is always striking environments, with zen qualities as well as dynamic, layered but still clean, and a home that serves the needs of the family in it. Perfection!
