~bedroom update using moulding & Glidden Paint~

I am always looking for new ways to update our home.
Not only do I love DIY projects, but I also think it's important to maintain our homes and keep them looking fresh. You want the place you spend the majority of your time in to be cozy, clean, and welcoming.
{make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post for a giveaway!}

Glidden Paints recently contacted me and asked if I would like to try out their paint.
Our bedroom was in need of a little refresh, so of course I said yes!

I selected Crisp Linen White paint in their Premium line, which is still a cream, but much fresher and brighter than what I currently had on the walls.
I decided to take things a step further too, and add mouldings.

Here was the process for this project.
First, I had to do a little math and figure out spacing of the mouldings on the wall.
This proved to be a little trickier than I had anticipated and I ended up with a lot of scribble marks on my walls.
I used an air nailer to attach these picture frame mouldings to the wall.
Once I had the first section done, the rest went pretty quickly.

And once they were all up, I cracked open my can of Glidden Crisp Linen White and went to work.
I could tell just from painting a small amount that this color was going to be much better.
The paint went on really smooth and only took two coats.
I found it dried really quickly too.

The room is super hard to photograph because it doesn't get a ton of natural light, but here it is, all finished!

I love how light and bright it is without being stark.
